Weekly reflection week 6

SDL in my opinion means I have time that I can work on stuff I still have to do and not do writing at this time and maths at one I can do it when ever I want in the day. I have completed most of my tasks set I've just been behind on my writing because I'm still getting use to managing my time. If I have spare time, Like if I have finished all my set tasks for the week I will write my script for my movie that I am making with Jakob. in my opinion if you can't keep focused on your personal inquiry why pick that subject. you tend to keep focused on something that you like.

Weekly Reflection week 5

The week has gone swell because I have done most of my work I just haven't finished work that's due next week. Trello has been a big help because I can look on it during the day and see what I have to do and what I have done. my scratch creation is going good because I have finished it and it is a three player game, The witch has to chase Hansel and Gretel and when the witch touches them they die and the game is over. I have adapted to pretty well to every change as well.

The grin on his face made it look like he could throw up rainbows. He was so happy because he finally DESTROYED that essay and he could now move on and see if he got an A for his efforts. Now that he could use that on his resume so that he could get a job as a writer.

“Leave me alone, I'm about to watch the lights in the sky” bellowed Pauline the lights were the best thing Pauline has seen all year. The town mayor only turned the lights on every 10 years. She tried to draw them on her special piece construct paper but her little brother always gets in her way then the mayor turns the lights off but not this year she thought. She quietly said to her mum “can you please keep Billy away from me so I can draw the lights”

“Yes hun” her mum said.

Week Three Kahikatea

I think that I am on task because I get all my work done in the time given to me and if I don’t get something done, I know that it was me letting myself down and I know I can do it, It just means I wasn’t using my time correctly. I am also using my time wisely because I get my work done and I have time to do my personal inquiry, for my personal inquiry Jakob and I are making a movie about a man in world war one and his life story. We are currently writing the script for it in our spare time. I am also using trello a lot more than when it was first introduced to me.

It was scorching my skin, I felt like I was on fire and my skin was crumbling that's how hot it is. Nothing for Kilometres, Not even a cactus. Only big mountains of sand and the ground was cracked, some cracks were almost the size of my head. I turned around and then I saw a pond of water.

My learning outcome was to describe the desert setting it up for my story. we only had 5 minutes too.

Once he had eaten his dinner he could go back and write in his book that he earned by being good and getting prison points. He could barely fit through his cell door because he was too tall he was 6.6ft, He also got bullied in prison because he likes weird music and he also got bullied because he is the only inmate with blonde hair.

I had 5 minutes to write this, sorry if its not up to scratch.

My version of The three little pigs

Once upon a time there were three little pigs that lived with their mother.
Their mother said “You are getting too old to live in the house with me you
should GO off and build a house for you and your families” And the three little pigs said

“OK mum” so they went off, Then they ran to the farmer’s house and stole what they needed to
build their houses. The first little pig stole straw the second little pig stole wood and the
third little pig stole bricks. Now that they have the resources needed to build their houses

The first little pig built his house out of straw and his oldest brother told him
“ that's not gonna hold against the wolf” but the he didn’t listen, so the oldest said “ Your loss”.
The third little pig went to the second little pigs house and said “ That might hold against
the wolf,
good job”. So the third little pig went off to build his house when he finished, he dug a
hole at the front of his house and planted a bomb in it then covered it with dirt and put a
flower on top so it didn’t look suspicious.
Then he heard a scream so he ran inside and grabbed his Remington shotgun and ran to
the first little pigs house but it was blown down and a chunk of the first little pigs body
was bitten out and blood was spewing out. The third little pig ran to his brother and said
“NO NO NO NO WHAT HAPPENED?” and then he answered back

“The wolf happened”, So the third pig started to go off to his house and get his guns,
but then he heard a scream again.

He ran over to the second oldest pig and his house was blown down and he was gone
but there was a blood trail leading to the oldest pigs house and then he heard the bomb go off.
But there was no wolf corpse but there was the Second little pigs corpse.
Then the wolf jumped off the roof and ripped off the oldest pigs leg then the pig shot the
wolfs chest and blood started squirting out all over the pigs face.
He could barely see so he just randomly pulled the trigger then the wolf fell over on to the
ground and then the pig went into his house using his gun as a spare leg and grabbed all
of the explosives he had. Then put them all around and on the wolf then he walked away
turned around and set off the explosives then the wolf went flying into the sky.

Two Years later

“Honey can you go and get some food from the shop” said the pigs wife

“Yes hon”

So he set off to get food he got some carrots and apples.
Once he got home he gave his wife the food and went to bed for a nap but he never woke up.
To this day his wife still lives in the brick house he built with their Two= kids Billy and Bob.

He went into prison hating writing, But the warden gave him a pen and paper. so he found out he loves writing.

Week Two: Kahikatea

This week was pretty productive but we had to go to hockey so that put me behind on somethings but I still got my writing and stuff done. Because I am amazing.

The Questions

1) Imagine that the rest of the world really has forgotten New Zealand exists, what are the pros and cons of being in the world but not part of it?

2) Why would, for example, India or China be upset if a map was made without their country on it, but map-makers are happy to forget New Zealand?

3) Use a computer or by freehand, draw your own map of the world and remove a country without telling anyone. What does the map look like? Is it odd or is the missing country unnoticeable? Show it to classmates, can they recognise which country is missing?

My Answers

1 pros: you don't get into wars and we won't have wars so we won't have to send people into war and that's GREAT.

Cons: our country could have not had food and we couldn’t grow food or eat and we wouldn’t be able to live because we have no food.

2 I don’t know maybe because they are massive countries and we are pretty small.
