Refugee activity-Freeze frame

For my reading this week Thomas, Eden, Jakob, Emily, Cameron, and I did a freeze frame of our novel Refugee. Emily was the camera man, I was the Dad, Thomas was the Mum, Jacob was Waleed, Cameron was Mahmoud, and Eden was the taxi driver. We did the scene where Mahmoud's family is in the taxi and the taxi driver is pointing a gun at them.

Refugee WK5 raft experiment With Jakob

 This term we are reading the book Refugee in the book one of the characters "Isabel" and her family are heading from Cuba to Miami using a homemade raft. So we Created a raft out of plastic bottles, egg cartons, cans, skewers and paper. I'm happy with the outcome it worked pretty well.
