My Explanation writing on the benefits of probiotics

The Benefits of probiotics  By Kahi

Do you know how Probiotics help the human body? Well you will after this, In the first paragraph I will be speaking about what Probiotics are. In the second I will be speaking about how they help you, and in the third I will be speaking about how probiotics are different from prebiotics.

Probiotics are live bacteria and yeasts that are good for your health, especially your digestive system. We usually think of these as germs that cause diseases. But your body is full of bacteria, both good and bad. Probiotics are often called "good" or "helpful" bacteria because they help keep your gut healthy. You can find probiotics in supplements and some foods, like yogurt. Doctors often suggest them to help with digestive problems.

Among other things, probiotics help send food through your gut by affecting nerves that control gut movement. Researchers are still trying to figure out which are best for certain health problems. Some common conditions they treat are:
  • Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)
  • Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Infectious diarrhea (caused by viruses, bacteria, or parasites)
  • Diarrhea caused by antibiotics

There is also some research that shows they're useful for problems in other parts of your body. For example
  • Preventing allergies and colds
  • Skin conditions, like Eczema
  • Oral health
Eczema is a medical condition when patches of skin become rough and inflamed with blisters which cause itching and sometimes bleeding.

Oral Health is when you clean your mouth by brushing your teeth or washing your mouth out with water.

Probiotics help with:
  • Food digestion
  • Nutrient absorption and utilization
  • Treating food allergies
  • Increasing immunity
  • Stimulating organic acids
  • Producing digestive enzymes
  • Fighting cancer
  • Prohibiting inflammation
  • Producing B-vitamins
  • Relieving lactose intolerance
  • Managing irritable bowel syndrome
  • Preventing colon cancer
Benefits of Prebiotics
Prebiotics are food for your gut bacteria and are non-digestible carbohydrates. Typically, they are types of fiber; however, there are some others.
They include:
  • Inulins: a polysaccharide class of fiber called fructans; they are found in plant foods
  • Fructooligosaccharides (FOS)
  • Lactulose
Because prebiotics are the fuel for healthy gut bacteria, their benefits are inherently tied to fiber. Many of the benefits associated with prebiotics are also noted in high-fiber diets. This makes sense because fiber is a non-digestible carb. It’s also most often found in “healthy” diets.
Lactulose are a synthetic sugar with laxative properties. It is a disaccharide consisting of glucose and fructose units.

Conclusion
So now you know probiotics help with your digestive system and that they are live bacteria. Most people think that all bacteria is bad but these ones are “good” bacteria. Also you now know how they help you and what with. They help you with things like Irritable bowel syndrome and Diarrhea caused by antibiotics. They also help with Preventing allergies and colds ,Skin conditions like Eczema and Oral health. And in the third paragraph I spoke about the difference between Probiotics and Prebiotics the differences were astonishing I thought they might be really different before I researched, but now I know that prebiotics are basically food for probiotics. Prebiotics are food for your gut bacteria and are non-digestible carbohydrates. Typically, they are types of fiber; however, there are some others.
Thanks for listening to my piece of explanation writing.
